MISSEZULA LAKE WEATHER

A hidden gem, the community of Missezula is located on the south end of the beautiful 4km long Missezula Lake. The popular recreational community features around 190 properties and accessed by a well maintained gravel road approximately 45 minutes north of Princeton. There is a large public dock and beach with several picnic tables, small playground and a beach volleyball court that is popular with families and large groups during the summer. During the cooler months, ice fishing and hunting reign supreme, with several cabins available for rent. The area also boasts countless forestry roads and trails to explore, making this an ideal place for outdoor recreational living.

The large beach boasts a volleyball court, multiple picnic tables, and a wide-open space for games, making it the perfect afternoon summer destination. Missezula lake has a large area dedicated to boat launches. Once the cooler months come along, ice fishing is very  popular all along the lake. There are also over 50 bodies of water in the area perfect for finding various types of fish with the game fish being Rainbow Trout, Kokanee and Eastern Brook

Outdoor Recreation


Missezula Lake is the perfect place to begin a lifetime of adventure. The long lake offers excellent boating, fishing and swimming opportunities. Camping at the north end rec site and various forestry roads and trails just waiting to explore. Bring the ATVs and head up the mountain and find the various small lakes and viewpoints for the perfect picnic.

How to Get Here


Take the Summer's Creek Road entrance at approximately 9kms north of Princeton off Hwy 5a. Missezula Lake is another 30km drive up the windy gravel road that is maintained all year round.
