Keremeos is located at the crossroads of BC Highway 3 and 3A, you’ll see it when you start seeing the dozens of fruit stands along the roads. The well-known Okanagan-grown produce, such as apples, cherries, peaches, pears and more are grown in this warm, dry town, with much of their produce being shipped across BC, giving Keremeos the honour of being both the “fruit stand capital of Canada” and, thanks to its ever-blowing winds to keep pests and mildew away, the “organic fruit stand capital of Canada”. There is a natural and wholesome way of living here, with the entire horizon as your backyard. The people living here are hard-working, with many of them working with horses and cattle on the several ranches surrounding the area.
